Every step of the production, made easy for you.

1. PROJECT CONSULT

Once we’re in touch, you will be asked about your business and your needs. We want to learn everything we can about what you do, and how we can help.

2. BUDGET AND SCOPE

We will work with you to develop a budget and scope of work that meets your needs. Pricing can be tailored to a one-time job, or recurring retainers, for multiple videos and ongoing projects.

3. SCRIPT DEVELOPMENT

Getting your script right is a big part of having a video that succesfully communicates your message. We will help you think creatively about what you want to say, as well as the logistics of execution.

4. PRE-PRODUCTION

The first step in a successful shoot is preparation. This includes scheduling and lining up all necessary assets prior to the shoot day. We may visit the shoot location as part of a tech scout beforehand.

5. SHOOT DAY

Principle Photography, a.k.a shoot day, is when we will be on-site to record all the content that goes into your video. For smaller jobs, this might be a half-day or full-day. Larger projects require multiple shoots.

6. POST-PRODUCTION

Video editing is the final stage in your production. Drafts and multiple revisions are usually structured into the budget. This allows for a back-and-forth discussion until everything is perfect.

Frequently Asked Questions

REGARDING PRICING

  • While every project is different, quotes are often in the $3000-$7000 range. If you are looking to create a series of videos, there are different pricing structures available to make ongoing projects more cost-effective.

  • Plan for 40% down during pre-production. The remainder is invoiced when your organization is satisfied with the final product.

  • Invoices are NET-30. Check is preferred. If another method is needed, feel free to ask and we will try to work with your needs.

REGARDING SHOOT DAY

  • Large spaces are best, provided we can minimize noise. Open areas often have better light, and allow us to construct a more attractive background in the scene.

  • Be sure to check out our Wardrobe Guidelines. Following these steps will be the best way to help you look great on camera!

  • We prefer to be at your facility at least 1-2 hours before the first shot is scheduled to take place.

REGARDING SERVICES

  • If your organization has the funds, we can certainly create high quality videos for Instagram/Facebook, etc.

However, we find for most clients it is more cost-effective to create social media videos internally. In general, social media is designed for content that is created and consumed using smartphones.

For a fee, we can re-encode some of the clips from your bigger projects, so that they may be recycled on social media. Feel free to ask about this if you are interested.

  • Video is our primary offering. However, many of the cameras used double as excellent photography cameras. If you need photos, let us know and they can be bundled in with your shoot.

  • Sorry, we do not offer weddings. Check out our friends at Silverstreak Weddings if someone you know is looking for this service.
