ABOUT SETH COOGAN
Seth is passionate about helping organizations improve their brand and share their story. He works well as an individual or with a team, and can scale productions accordingly for the needs of his clients.
Seth is a UVA alumnus, and currently resides in Charlottesville. His filmmaking career began in 2014 on a backpacking trip through Asia with his friends, while carrying a Canon 5D camera and the original DJI Phantom drone. Returning to Virginia, he has spent the last decade honing his craft and helping businesses large and small with professional video production. He has worked on feature films, short films, documentaries, and commercials. He has experience within the departments of Production, Camera, and Grip. Content creation for his own clients began with DSLR cameras, before transitioning to mirrorless bodies and cinema cameras. As a video editor, he has worked in Final Cut X, the Adobe Suite, and Davinci Resolve. An FAA Certified Remote Pilot, he has operated drones on three continents and watched the commercial drone industry evolve since it’s inception. He still loves to travel, and has worked in cities across the United States.
On the rare occasion when he is not editing video or serving in his church, Seth enjoys exercising and coaching CrossFit classes as a Level 2 Certified Trainer. He also likes escaping to camp in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
