ABOUT SETH COOGAN
Seth is passionate about cinematography and storytelling. With over 10-years experience, he enjoys helping organizations grow their brand using cinema cameras. He works well as an individual or with a team, and can scale productions accordingly for the needs of his clients.
Seth lives in the Charlottesville area and is a UVA alumnus. His filmmaking career began in 2014 on a backpacking trip through Asia with his friends, while carrying a Canon 5D camera and first-generation DJI Phantom drone. Returning to Virginia, he spent the last decade honing his craft and helping businesses large and small with professional video production. He has worked on feature films, short films, documentaries, and commercials. He has experience within the departments of Production, Camera, and Grip. As a video editor, he has worked in Final Cut X, the Adobe Suite, and Davinci Resolve. An FAA Certified Remote Pilot, he has operated drones on three continents and watched the commercial drone industry evolve since it’s inception. He still loves to travel, and works in cities across the United States.
When not shooting and editing video projects or helping in his church, Seth enjoys CrossFit and escaping to camp in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
